Elected Positions available of the Village of Cornell Board


Would you like to make a difference in your community? Consider running for one of the available positions on the Village of Cornell Board. The election will be held on April 1, 2025. The Village of Cornell Board has 6 openings for next year's election:

  • One full 4-year term for President(Mayor)
  • One full 4-year term for Clerk
  • Three 4-year terms for Trustees
  • One 2-year unexpired term for Trustee

Requirements: Candidates must be a registered voter and shall have resided within the the Village of Cornell at least one year prior to the election.

Petitions and accompanying paperwork are available at the Village Hall, 602 Main St (815)358-2524 or by calling/texting Village Clerk Margaret Elzey at (815)383-9330. Completed paperwork must be turned in to Clerk Elzey during the week of November 12th through November 19th, 2024.
